Let’s start this amazing trip, the captain will say “Hello everybody, are you ready for full descontrol?” or something like that. Then the luggage go to the cabins and you’ll receive a short introduction with basic conditions to living on board. After verify you aren’t someone who wants to escape for the police, you’ll enjoy the first whole day and night sailing in the sea.
After 40 hours of sailing, some people will want to see the ground, so this is their moment, the welcome to the Blue Lagoon of Caya Holandes Islands, there you can explore what you want for the rest of the day. You’ll can use the snorkel gear in the beautiful secluded islands.
At morning you will see a nice sonrise while we get to the Calubir island, where you’ll be there for morning and afternoon, so that’s the moment to feel the sea and forget everything. The short trip finishing in Porvenir where the captain takes care of immigration and we just enjoy the night there.
We’ll start the day getting to the Chichime island, it’s a nice but small island, there are few people, so you can enjoy a great snorkeling amongst the coral of the lagoon. Next night there will be a dinner with Kuna family in San Blas, it’s really exciting, like another way to live. The fresh fish and coconut rice are the perfect “goodbye” from the island.
This is the bad part, ¡The last day!
Okay, this is for enjoy more than ever Chichime and San Blas, then we have to move to the final destiny, Puerto Lindo. When we arrive to this small port with the sunrise at side, you can take the buses to Panama City via Colon with a big smile because was the best experience to travel from Cartagena to Panamá.
The itinerary is reversed for those traveling from Panama to Colombia, the same experience with another starting point.
